The loud husky noise that people produce while they are deep in their sleep is what is termed as snoring. While this is happening, individuals are often in an unconscious state and they can only become aware of this issue once they are notified by either members of their families or roommates. Production of this sound when one is asleep can be influenced by the angle of sleep. Individuals have different positions of sleeping but during the past years, investigation proved that some positions are bad for people and they may make one to snore. One can even have a person monitor them while they are deep in slumber land and help them identify both their sleeping and snoring patterns.

There are people who do this with their mouths closed. Science has proven that this can be a problem to do with the tongue. If one does this with an open mouth, it can indicate an issue with the tissues of the throat. Sometimes it may be due to the positions that people make while they are sleeping. For example, if one sleeps while laying on his back, this may lead to the arising of a problem such as this and the solution may be a change of lifestyle.

Reduction of body weight is a good example. When weight is cut down, layers of fat that cover the gaseous exchange system are gotten rid of making it easier for individuals to respire during the night hence reducing the tendency of individuals producing such distasteful noise.

It has been proven that exercise can be the cure of many difficulties of the body. This is true as also in this case, people who have this problem are advised to take part in a lot of exercise. It helps relieve stress in the body and tone down muscles including those of the air pathways. At the end of the day, one realizes that sleep is sound as compared to before and close associates do not complain at night anymore.

Medics have proven that this can be identified more in those people who have the habit of smoking. The reason underlying this fact is that it irritates the nose and the air pathways. Reducing the amount of cigarettes one takes in a day can hence be of much benefit to them and that is why there are numerous campaigns that advice individuals to keep off this bad behavior.

Taking a heavy meal just before one goes to sleep can be another contributing factor. It is advised hat only light meals should be consumed in the event that one is about to go to bed. However, if one must eat to his fill, then several hours should pass before he decides to take a nap. Coffee is also supposed to be avoided as these are some of the contributing factors and if checked, people would no longer have to complain about anything.

Last but not least, it is advisable to sleep by the side. This avoids lying on the back at night as it can cause gravity to cause mainly the tongue and other muscles to drop; hence, affecting air passages making one produce these disturbing noises during the night.
